About

Born 1987 Vancouver, BC, Canada

Sam was raised in the American South in a small coastal Georgia town and then later in a midsized Florida city on the Gulf Coast.
Eventually relocating to Southern California 10 years ago.

Sam’s work is a response to personal inquiries in regard to the idea of the need for a “hero’s journey,” and explores social issues, systems of access/obstruction, physics, geology/geological time, symbology, mysticism, and other things seen and unseen. She has been a practicing artist and designer, chasing such inquiries since 2010.
